Terms of use
Effective date: 19 October 2026 · Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Stream-It, India (“we”, “us”), the company behind Stream-It by CrickHunt.
By creating an account or using Stream-It, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Stream-It.
If you use Stream-It for a club, school, league or company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it. “You” then means both you and that organisation.
2. The service
Stream-It is an app for Android, iPhone and Windows. With it you can:
- film with your phone or PC and stream live to platforms you choose, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or your own streaming server;
- connect other phones as cameras, on the same Wi-Fi or over the internet with a camera link;
- add overlays such as pictures, text, scores and web pages, save them to My overlays / My Screens, and record your production on your device.
Some features are still being built and are marked Coming soon. We may add, change or remove features.
3. Your account
- You need an account for every part of the app, including camera mode.
- Stream-It is for everyone. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms for you and help you use the app; they are responsible for your use.
- Give a phone number you use and keep your password and login code secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. You can log out all your devices in the app.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or see Delete your account.
4. Your content
- You own your content. Your video, sound, pictures, overlays, Screens and recordings stay yours. We do not claim them.
- The licence you give us is small. You allow us to store, copy, send and show your content only as needed to run Stream-It for you — for example to sync your saved overlays and Screens to your devices, to pass camera video between your phones, or to send a thumbnail to YouTube when you ask. This licence is worldwide, free of charge and ends when you delete the content or your account (copies in backups are gone within 30 days).
- We do not receive your live stream. Your device sends it straight to the platforms you choose.
- We do not look at your content except when you ask us for help, to keep the service safe, or when the law requires it.
5. Your rights to stream it
You are responsible for having all the rights and permissions you need for everything you film, stream, record or show. This includes:
- the match or event — the venue, league, organiser or rights holder may control who can film and stream it;
- music — including your break music. Most commercial music needs a licence; platforms may mute, block or remove streams that use music you have no rights to;
- logos, pictures, scores, videos and web pages you use in overlays;
- the people you film — get their permission where the law requires it. For children, their parents or guardians must agree, and the school or organiser where needed.
If someone claims that your stream or content breaks their rights or the law, you will deal with that claim and cover our reasonable costs caused by it.
6. Platform rules
When you stream to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or any other platform, that platform’s own terms and rules apply to your stream, your channel and your viewers. You must follow them. If you connect YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. If you connect Facebook, Meta’s terms apply.
Stream-It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Facebook, Instagram or Meta. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. A platform may change its service, limit your account or stop your stream; we cannot control that.
Keep your stream keys secret: anyone with your key can stream to your channel.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Stream-It to film, stream, record, upload or share anything that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to use;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, or harmful to children;
- invades someone’s privacy (including their body), or harasses, threatens, bullies or insults anyone, including because of gender, religion, caste, race or ethnicity;
- promotes violence, terrorism, money laundering or illegal gambling;
- infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right;
- deceives people about where it comes from, or spreads information you know is false or misleading;
- pretends to be another person or organisation;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries or public order, or incites an offence;
- contains viruses or harmful code;
- breaks any law.
Also do not:
- break, overload, copy, reverse-engineer or get around the security of Stream-It, its camera links or its server, except where the law allows it;
- use someone else’s account, phone number, camera link or stream key without permission;
- send spam or automated requests to our server, or resell Stream-It without our written permission.
8. Suspension and ending your use
- You can stop using Stream-It and delete your account at any time.
- We may limit, suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law or an authority requires it, or to protect other people or the service. Where we can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. In serious or urgent cases, or where the law requires, we may act at once.
- If we stop Stream-It altogether, we will tell you at least 30 days before, where we can.
- When your account is closed, the data on our server is deleted as described in our Privacy policy. Files on your own device stay there.
- Sections 4 (licence for backups), 5, 10, 11 and 13 still apply after your account ends.
9. Plans and payments
Stream-It is free today. We take no payments. Some features have limits (for example how many items you can save); the app shows them, and they may change.
If we add paid plans later, they will have their own terms and prices, shown before you buy. Nothing will cost money without your clear agreement.
Your phone company or internet provider may charge you for data and SMS.
10. CrickHunt
Stream-It works fully without a CrickHunt account. Connecting a CrickHunt account (for match details and live scores) will be optional and is not available yet. When it is, we will tell you what is shared before you connect.
11. The service is provided “as is”
Stream-It is a new product. We work hard to keep it running, but:
- the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises of any kind, as far as the law allows;
- live streaming depends on your phone, your internet, the Wi-Fi at the venue and the platforms — streams may drop, lag or stop;
- we do not promise that the app or our server will always work, be error-free, or keep every feature.
Always test before an important event, and keep a recording.
12. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost streams, lost recordings, lost viewers, lost income or profit, lost data, or harm to reputation;
- we are not liable for what platforms, internet providers, venues or other people do, or for content you stream;
- our total liability for all claims about Stream-It is limited to the amount you paid us for Stream-It in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit — for example for fraud, or for death or injury caused by our negligence — or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly. If not, the courts at Surat, India, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live outside India, you also keep any rights you have to bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when Stream-It or the law changes. We will put the new date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before it applies (sooner only if the law or safety requires it). If you keep using Stream-It after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
15. General
- These terms and the Privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Stream-It.
- If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
- We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Stream-It. You may not transfer them without our permission.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you.
- Open-source licences of the software inside Stream-It are listed in the app (Settings → About → Open-source licences).
