Auction live streaming from your phone

To live stream an auction from your phone, install Stream-It on an Android phone, point it at the auctioneer, connect more phones for the lot and the room, add names and logos as overlays and go live to YouTube, Facebook or your own website. Show every raise

Remote bidders and viewers want to see three things: the auctioneer, the lot up close and the room. Give each its own phone and prepare Screens for Next lot, Bidding, Close-up, Room, Sold and Break.

For a sports league player auction, the close-up camera can show the player's profile card or the team tables, and the lot card overlay shows the player's name and details.

What Stream-It does and does not do

Stream-It is a live streaming app: cameras, Screens, overlays, sound and the stream. It does not take bids or run the auction. If your auction already has a board or website with the live bid, show that page on the stream as a web page overlay.

Stream to your own website through Custom RTMP so bidders stay on your page.

Works for any kind of auction

  • Sports league player auctions.
  • Cattle and livestock auctions.
  • Property and vehicle auctions.
  • Charity and fundraising auctions.

Key facts about Stream-It

  • What it is: Stream-It by CrickHunt is a live streaming app for Android that turns phones into a live production. One phone runs the show: it switches cameras, Screens, overlays and sound, streams and records.
  • Platforms: YouTube, Facebook and any other platform that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server address and stream key. Several platforms at the same time from one phone.
  • Cameras: the production phone's own camera plus other phones that join as cameras, on the same Wi-Fi (no internet needed between them) or over the internet with a camera code or link.
  • On screen: text, images and logos, a logo slider, web page overlays and video clips; Screens you switch live; Starting soon and Be right back screens; break music and a sound mixer with faders.
  • Quality: 720p and 1080p, and 2K or 4K where the phone can do it. Auto quality lowers the bitrate on a weak network, and recording on the phone keeps going if the internet drops.
  • What you need: an Android phone, a Stream-It account (log in with your phone number) and, to go live, internet on the phone that sends the stream.
  • Availability: Android on Google Play; iPhone app coming soon; Windows production desk coming soon (join the waitlist).
