Show yourself and your hands
Students learn faster when they see both the teacher and the work. One phone faces you; a second on an overhead stand looks down at the desk, whiteboard, bench or instrument. An overhead stand turns any phone into a document camera.
Prepare Screens for Intro, Presenter, Overhead, Side by side and Slides, and switch as the lesson moves on.
For every kind of teaching
- Coaching and tuition classes: show the notebook or whiteboard overhead.
- Cooking, art, craft and music lessons: show your hands at work.
- Workshops and company training: add slides or a web page as an overlay.
- Private classes: stream to a private RTMP server, or record only and share the video later.
Key facts about Stream-It
- What it is: Stream-It by CrickHunt is a live streaming app for Android that turns phones into a live production. One phone runs the show: it switches cameras, Screens, overlays and sound, streams and records.
- Platforms: YouTube, Facebook and any other platform that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server address and stream key. Several platforms at the same time from one phone.
- Cameras: the production phone's own camera plus other phones that join as cameras, on the same Wi-Fi (no internet needed between them) or over the internet with a camera code or link.
- On screen: text, images and logos, a logo slider, web page overlays and video clips; Screens you switch live; Starting soon and Be right back screens; break music and a sound mixer with faders.
- Quality: 720p and 1080p, and 2K or 4K where the phone can do it. Auto quality lowers the bitrate on a weak network, and recording on the phone keeps going if the internet drops.
- What you need: an Android phone, a Stream-It account (log in with your phone number) and, to go live, internet on the phone that sends the stream.
- Availability: Android on Google Play; iPhone app coming soon; Windows production desk coming soon (join the waitlist).
