A camera for every voice
A video podcast feels alive when the picture follows the conversation. Give each host a phone at eye level, add a wide of the table from behind, and switch to whoever is talking. Prepare Screens for Intro, Host, Guest, Two-shot, Wide and Be right back so every cut is one tap.
Remote guests
A guest who cannot come to the studio installs Stream-It and joins as a camera over the internet with the camera code. Their picture arrives on the production phone like any other camera, so you can put them on air or side by side with the host.
Make every episode go further
- Record a vertical copy too. It gives you ready-made clips for Reels and Shorts.
- Add name titles and your show logo as overlays so new viewers know who is talking.
- Recording is on the phone, so you keep the full episode even if the internet drops.
Key facts about Stream-It
- What it is: Stream-It by CrickHunt is a live streaming app for Android that turns phones into a live production. One phone runs the show: it switches cameras, Screens, overlays and sound, streams and records.
- Platforms: YouTube, Facebook and any other platform that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server address and stream key. Several platforms at the same time from one phone.
- Cameras: the production phone's own camera plus other phones that join as cameras, on the same Wi-Fi (no internet needed between them) or over the internet with a camera code or link.
- On screen: text, images and logos, a logo slider, web page overlays and video clips; Screens you switch live; Starting soon and Be right back screens; break music and a sound mixer with faders.
- Quality: 720p and 1080p, and 2K or 4K where the phone can do it. Auto quality lowers the bitrate on a weak network, and recording on the phone keeps going if the internet drops.
- What you need: an Android phone, a Stream-It account (log in with your phone number) and, to go live, internet on the phone that sends the stream.
- Availability: Android on Google Play; iPhone app coming soon; Windows production desk coming soon (join the waitlist).
