The same service every week

Churches, temples, mosques, gurudwaras and satsang groups stream the same kind of programme again and again. Build it once (cameras, Screens for Welcome, Service, Readings, Music and Closing, overlays and platforms) and reuse the whole setup from History.

A volunteer can run the stream with no training once the screens are saved.

Cameras and sound

  • Wide: at the back, showing the whole hall and altar or stage.
  • Pulpit, altar or speaker: closer, for faces during the sermon, katha or pravachan.
  • Choir, band or kirtan: a third phone for the music.
  • Sound: take it from the mixing desk into the main phone, so viewers hear what the hall hears.

Community events too

Festivals, community meetings, annual functions and charity events use the same setup. Add your logo as an image overlay and the event name as a text overlay, and stream to YouTube and Facebook at the same time so every member can watch where they already are.

Key facts about Stream-It

  • What it is: Stream-It by CrickHunt is a live streaming app for Android that turns phones into a live production. One phone runs the show: it switches cameras, Screens, overlays and sound, streams and records.
  • Platforms: YouTube, Facebook and any other platform that gives you an RTMP or RTMPS server address and stream key. Several platforms at the same time from one phone.
  • Cameras: the production phone's own camera plus other phones that join as cameras, on the same Wi-Fi (no internet needed between them) or over the internet with a camera code or link.
  • On screen: text, images and logos, a logo slider, web page overlays and video clips; Screens you switch live; Starting soon and Be right back screens; break music and a sound mixer with faders.
  • Quality: 720p and 1080p, and 2K or 4K where the phone can do it. Auto quality lowers the bitrate on a weak network, and recording on the phone keeps going if the internet drops.
  • What you need: an Android phone, a Stream-It account (log in with your phone number) and, to go live, internet on the phone that sends the stream.
  • Availability: Android on Google Play; iPhone app coming soon; Windows production desk coming soon (join the waitlist).

Questions people ask

Can I live stream a church service or temple aarti from my phone?

Yes. Put one Android phone with Stream-It at the back for the wide shot, one closer to the altar or speaker, and go live to YouTube, Facebook or both.

Can I reuse the same setup every week?

Yes. Every stream is saved in History with its cameras, Screens, overlays and platforms. Tap Resume setup to start again where you stopped.

How do I get good sound for a service?

Feed the sound from your mixing desk into the main phone and set the level with the mixer's faders before you go live.

Can I stream to YouTube and Facebook at the same time?

Yes. Turn on both before you go live and the same show goes to both from one phone. Other platforms work with their RTMP or RTMPS server address and stream key.

Does it work for a mosque, gurudwara or satsang?

Yes. Any place of worship or community gathering works the same way: a wide shot, a closer shot of the speaker, good sound and words on screen.
